Knowledge is Power

Today I stumbled on some new resources you should know about if you, or someone you know could be dealing with separation and/or divorce.
Legal Information Institue (LLI ) @ Cornell Univ Law School – This is a gem and it’s free! LII is a not-for-profit group that believes everyone should be able to read and understand the laws that govern them without cost. Visit to research family law statues in every state, access Wex it’s free legal dictionary and encyclopedia, links to legal resources and more.
Closer to my home, in VA it appears the Virgina Bar Association, in conjunction with the Fairfax Law Foundation, provides some services as well as free publications. I’ll be checking out their Pro Bono Center and Conciliation Program next week and let you know more. You can help by sharing what you know below!
And, need I mention all the Priceless Resources I list for you on brilliantexits’ website!! Or our monthly Second Saturday: What YOU need to know about Separation & Divorce program the 2nd Sat of each month at the Alexandria campus of NVCC… where we bring you some of the area’s best experts to share info & insights in a very caring environment. Next SecSat is Nov 13 and it’s especially for Ladies. Our Dec 11 SecSat is coed. We’d love to see you there!
